Adult Online Europe Trade Show Kicks Off Today

BERLIN — Europe’s leading adult trade event for mobile, online and iTV kicked off today at the Hotel Maritim in Berlin. The AOE show features conferences, seminars, workshops and an exhibition floor. World Telemedia sponsors the event, which runs through Wednesday.

AOE’s goal is to bring together the “leading European companies in one venue to share tips and guidance with U.S. companies seeking penetration in the European market,” according to its website.

“The AOE Expo is one of the best advantages to communicate with all decision makers in the European adult market,” said Christoph H. Hermes, of Pink Adventure AG, a mobile technology company. “For several genres you’ll find the right persons to talk to and make your business.”

The highlights of AOE are 19 conferences. The show features a thorough list of presentations, workshops, panel discussions and industry forums featuring speakers from leading international adult businesses. The goal of such strategy sessions is to highlight market trends, technology updates, billing developments, regulatory and legal issues.

Today’s seminars include “Blogging and Podcasting” featuring Damian Jennings of Playboy UK, “Running a Successful Affiliate Program” with Garry Oien of Mansion Productions, “Running a Successful Webcam Business” with representatives from the Intermax Group and “2257, .XXX and All That – The Legal Overview” with lawyer Chad Belville.

“The AOE show is regarded as the best show in Europe for the adult industry,” Rob Clark, of the InterMax Group said. “Over the past few shows, I have noticed a prominent increase of U.S. companies coming to AOE and making a huge impact in the European market.”
